Nothing on Early Homeschool is legal advice or a substitute for local homeschool law. Rules for teaching at home differ by country and by US state. We do not tell you whether you must register, which forms to file, or whether a particular arrangement is lawful where you live. For that, use your education department or a qualified adviser in your area.

Activities and printables

Ideas are written for typical play with young children. They are not a diagnosis, not therapy, and not a promise that a child will read, count, or “catch up” by a certain date. Adult supervision is your job, especially around water, food, scissors, and small objects.
